When you send a booking request
We keep your name, e-mail address, phone number if you gave one, and what you asked for. We pass them to the venue you chose, so that it can answer and receive you. We keep the request for two years, then delete it. The basis is the steps needed to arrange the booking you asked for.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We keep your e-mail address and city until you unsubscribe — every e-mail has the link. The basis is your consent.
If you run a venue
We publish business details that are already public (name, address, phone, website, opening hours). We may hold a contact e-mail found on your public website, used only to pass on booking requests and for one introductory message. You can object and have the page removed at any time, with one click from any e-mail or by writing to us. The basis is our legitimate interest in running a complete guide, balanced against your right to object.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your language and city are remembered in your own browser only.
On a first visit the site reads your device’s time zone, in your browser, to open in your own country. If you press “Use my location”, your position is used in your browser to find the nearest city. Neither is sent to us.
To open in your own city, the site also looks your IP address up in a file kept on our own server. The address is not stored and is passed to nobody.
Who else sees data
Our hosting provider (in the European Union), our e-mail provider, and — for online payment — our payment provider. No one else.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, object to its use, and complain to your data protection authority (in Luxembourg: the CNPD). Write to zyagency20@gmail.com.
